Civil and Probate Litigator

David W. Rifkin began his practice concentrating on Criminal Defense and Divorce and Custody actions primarily in Essex County. Within 5 years his trial reputation had grown so that many established law firms referred him civil litigation cases for trial. He has dedicated himself to obtain the highest monetary compensation available from all sources to compensate those wrongfully injured.

His proven verdicts and settlements as well as his caring personal attention to clients and details have justified his reputation that has led to both clients and other attorneys entrusting their cases to him for over 30 years. Clients have come from all over the United States and foreign countries.

In 1983, David W. Rifkin obtained the first medical malpractice settlement in excess of $1,000,000 in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Numerous other verdicts and settlements have followed in actions recovering damages for negligence and wrongful death (see case results).

Although well known as a civil litigator, David W. Rifkin has continued his close contact with the Probate Court litigation handling hundreds of divorces, custody cases, as well as litigation of equity, estate, real estate and property claims.

Although occasionally Attorney Rifkin handles criminal cases, his law partner Patrick W. Morgan handles the majority of the criminal cases (see case results).

With extensive experience in varied areas of law in District, Superior, Land and Appellate Courts, David W. Rifkin continues to be the lawyer you want on your side to get the results you deserve.
